South Pacific Yacht Delivery Specialists

25 Years Of South Pacific Yacht Deliveries

We manage offshore yacht deliveries across Fiji, Tonga, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and the wider South Pacific, with structured passage planning, seasonal routing awareness and disciplined offshore seamanship.

Brief Overview Of Service

Pacific Weather

Deliveries across Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Tonga are planned around seasonal weather patterns, trade wind consistency and cyclone risk windows — not arbitrary departure dates.

Offshore Communication

On long Pacific legs where infrastructure is limited, we operate with redundant sat-comms and structured reporting schedules to maintain continuity offshore.

Remote Logistics

Clearances, fuel availability, spare parts and crew changes in Pacific island ports require advance coordination. We plan these variables before departure, not mid-passage.

South Pacific Operations

Every voyage across the South Pacific is planned against real constraints — trade wind patterns, fuel range, customs clearance, and remote logistics. We prepare detailed passage plans, conservative weather routing, and port entry documentation for destinations including Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Tonga, and French Polynesia.

During the delivery, owners receive direct skipper communication and position reporting. Decisions are made pragmatically, based on vessel capability and conditions — not schedule pressure.

Our objective is straightforward: move your yacht safely and efficiently across bluewater routes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our standard delivery includes full passage planning, weather routing, professional crew (Skipper and required team members), safety equipment setup, engine/systems checks before and during the voyage, and regular communication updates. We handle all navigational, logistical, and safety aspects from your departure point to the final destination port.

We use a daily rate because it protects your vessel. A fixed price penalizes us financially for making safe decisions (like waiting out a storm or taking a strategic detour). Our daily rate ensures we are always incentivized to prioritize prudent, safe seamanship over speed, ensuring your yacht arrives in the best possible condition.

The size, complexity, and route of the yacht determine the crew required. As the Delivery Skipper, I select crew members based on their specific experience with the type of vessel (e.g., power catamarans, sailing monohulls) and the particular ocean conditions (e.g., South Pacific, North Atlantic).

We mitigate this risk through rigorous pre-departure checks. If a breakdown does occur, our crew will immediately stabilize the situation and assess necessary repairs. The owner is responsible for the cost of parts and external repairs (e.g., mechanics, haul-outs), but our crew will handle the necessary repairs at sea or coordinate external assistance to resume the delivery as swiftly and safely as possible.

We manage all international requirements, including notifying customs, immigration in advance. We handle the paperwork, submit necessary online forms, and manage the on-site clearance process at both the departure and arrival ports from Tahiti to Fiji.

Our policy is safety first, always. We utilize advanced weather routing software and satellite communications to actively avoid heavy weather. If unavoidable, we will hold in port or utilize strategic course changes (as detailed in our blog!) to keep the vessel comfortable and safe. We will never push a boat beyond its safe operating limits.

You will receive regular updates—usually once daily, or more frequently during crucial maneuvers (e.g., port approaches, heavy weather). We utilize satellite communication systems to ensure reliable contact, and the updates usually include a log entry, position, weather summary, and expected ETA. We also have a Garmin In reach for 24hr tracking.
